Note: This page is intended to provide general information for setting up email apps on client devices only, not connecting to other email systems (e.g., Gmail). The Outlook app is the recommended email client to use with UO email systems. Other supported apps can be found on the

UOmail
This list of settings is for advanced users who know how to configure email software and simply need the university-specific server information.
- IMAP (incoming mail, recommended): outlook.office365.com
- POP (incoming mail): outlook.office365.com
- SMTP (outgoing mail): smtp.office365.com
Exchange
This list of settings is for advanced users who know how to configure email software and simply need the university-specific server information.
- IMAP (incoming): exchange.uoregon.edu
- SMTP (outgoing): exchange.uoregon.edu
- ActiveSync (incoming and outgoing, recommended): sync.uoregon.edu
For mobile devices using Exchange:
- Email address: <Duck ID>@uoregon.edu or The Duck ID (any other domain will not be accepted)
- Server: sync.uoregon.edu
- Domain: ad.uoregon.edu
- On some phones, you may need to use just ad or ad\<Duck ID> in the domain field
- Username: Your Duck ID
- Some devices combine the Domain and Username fields into a single field and require only the full email address to be entered.
- If the above suggestions fail to work in a combined field (i.e. ad\<Duck ID>), try entering just the UO email address (<Duck ID>@uoregon.edu).
- Password: Your Duck ID password
- Port: 443
- Use SSL?: On
- S/MIME: Off
Webmail
