All About Email at UO

What systems are there?

The University of Oregon is moving to one consolidated email system, UOmail, hosted by Microsoft as a part of Office 365. During the transition period, there are still two email systems: Webmail and UOmail.

Which system am I using?

You can find out which email system you are using by going to Duck ID Self-Service, selecting Manage Your Duck ID, and logging in. Information about your email will be listed at the bottom of the gray box.

Who is using UOmail?

Anyone who claimed their Duck ID account after July 16, 2019, is using UOmail, as are all faculty and staff.

Students using Webmail can opt in to UOmail. Otherwise, they will be moved to UOmail during 2022-2023. More information is available at UOmail for Students.
