Service Description

Your Duck ID is the first part of your UO email address before the @ sign. You use your Duck ID and associated password to log in to many services at UO, including e-mail, wireless, and Canvas.

The Duck ID self-service website (https://duckid.uoregon.edu) allows you to change your password, update your security questions, and view details about your Duck ID account.

The Duck ID Admin Console provides IT Professionals on campus, such as Credentialing Agents and Exchange Administrators, the ability to manage accounts.

Requirements

To claim your Duck ID you will need your UO ID (95#) and access to the email you applied with.

For administrative accounts (e.g. Credentialing Agents and Exchange Administrators), approval and training are required. Visit the Credentialing Agent knowledge base article for the access form.

Accessing the Service

The ability to claim your Duck ID is automatically provided when you become affiliated with the University of Oregon. Administrative accounts must be requested.

Service Levels

The service may be partially or fully unavailable during two scheduled maintenance windows: Tuesdays 5:00 a.m.- 7:00 a.m. and Fridays 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. The service is otherwise expected to be available.
