Duck ID Account Self-Recovery

Overview

Use these instructions if you've been notified by text or email by us that your password has been reset by UO IT staff due to a security concern.

If you've forgotten your password please see Change or Reset Your Duck ID Password.

How to recover your account

  • Go to Duck ID Account Management and select Manage Your Duck ID
  • Enter your Duck ID and last known password
  • You will automatically be led through the recovery process. 
  • You must:
    • Answer your security questions
    • Complete two factor verification
    • Accept the UO Computer and Network Use Policy
    • Reset your password
  • Once those steps are complete, your account has been recovered, and you can Logout
  • If you are unable to complete these steps, or are still having trouble using your account, please contact the Technology Service Desk for assistance
