Setting Up Email: Outlook 365 for Windows

Information

Webmail

  1. Start Outlook.
  2. Choose File.
  3. Click Add Account.
  4. Enter your full UO email address in the Email Address box.
  5. Click Advanced Options and check the Let me set up my account manually box.
  6. Click Connect.
  7. In the Advanced setup window, choose IMAP.
  8. At the next window, enter your Duck ID password.
  9. After adding the account, uncheck the Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too box before closing the window.
  10. Once you have signed in, your inbox will now populate and you should see your messages.

UOmail & Exchange

  1. Start Outlook.
  2. If you have already added an account to Outlook, choose File. Otherwise, skip to Step 4.
  3. Click Add Account.
  4. Enter your full UO Email address in the Email Address box.
    • If you are on Exchange, then, in the Advanced setup window, select Exchange 2013 or earlier.
    • For UOmail, select Exchange.
  5. When prompted, enter your Duck ID password and authenticate through Duo.
  6. After signing in, uncheck the Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too box.
  7. Once you have signed in, your inbox will now populate and you should see your messages.
