Setting Up UOmail: Outlook for iOS

Overview

This article is designed to guide university-affiliated persons through the process of configuring their University of Oregon email account with the Outlook for iOS application for iPhone and Apple Mobile Devices.

Procedure

  1. Download and install the Outlook app from the App Store.
  2. Open the Outlook app.
    • If you have a mail account already on Outlook, tap the gear at the bottom and tap Add Mail Account, then Add Email Account.
  3. Enter in your full email address and tap Add Account.
  4. In the Password prompt, enter the password for your UO email account and tap Sign In.
  5. If this is your first account added in Outlook:
    • If you would like to add another account, you may do so, otherwise you can tap Maybe Later.
    • You'll be taken through a tour, and then brought to your inbox.
    • That's it! Send a test message to yourself to verify that it's working.

To update your password:

If the app asks you to update your password, fill in the prompt.
