Service Description

Connect to UOnet and the Internet wirelessly with your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. There are four UO wireless networks:

  • uowireless
  • UO Secure
  • UO Guest
  • eduroam

Click on the Request Help button for assistance with connecting to the WiFi network, troubleshooting connection issues, etc.

Available To

Access to uowireless or UO Secure requires a current UO affiliation.

Access to UO Guest requires sponsorship by a UO faculty or staff member.

Requirements

For the eduroam network, users must have an affiliation with an eduroam member institution. See https://www.eduroam.us/institutions_list.

Service Levels

Maintenance for wireless typically occurs Mondays at 3:30am-7am and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 5am-7am. See Network maintenance windows at https://status.uoregon.edu/maintenance.

To report an outage, please use this Service Outage form.

  • To report a campus network down emergency* after hours: call (541) 346-6387, select option 3 and leave a message.
  • *Network down emergency: A network problem affecting multiple campus users and/or portions of a building or larger.

There are no additional charges for the use of this service.
