Wi-Fi Networking Support

Use this service to request support for UONet for wireless connections to your phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or others. 

  • Setting up a new device on the WiFi network
  • Troubleshooting a login or connection issue with the WiFi network
  • Report an area with poor coverage or weak WiFi signal
  • Interested in expanding WiFi coverage in a building/area (Faculty/Staff or IT Staff only)
  • ISE authentication problem (ResNet devices) (IT Staff only)

How to Create a Ticket

To request support click Create a Ticket (top right of the page) and provide the following information:

  • Your UO affiliation (Faculty/Staff, IT Staff, Student)
  • Which building you are in
  • What do you need help with?
  • Which network(s) do you need help with:
    • UO Secure
    • UO Guest
    • eduroam
  • What type of device you are using
  • Detailed description of your request

Availability and Access

Access to uowireless or UO Secure requires a current UO affiliation.

Access to UO Guest is open to any campus visitor. This service is not available at athletic venues.

For the eduroam network, users must have an affiliation with an eduroam member institution. See eduroam U.S. Connectors for more information.

The UO offers both wireless and wired access to the internet. The wireless network you use will depend on your affiliation. UO students, staff, and faculty can use uowireless or UO Secure. Guests to campus can use UO Guest or, if they're from an eduroam-participating institution, they can use eduroam.
