Configuring UO Secure (Android)

Question

How do I connect to UO Secure on my Android devices?

Solution

Connecting to UO Secure with UO Wi-Fi Setup

  1. Connect to UO Wi-Fi Setup by selecting UO Wi-Fi Setup under the Wi-Fi tab. This should automatically open a window in your default web browser.
    • Note: If you don't get redirected, visit the UO Secure setup site manually by navigating to an HTTP site (not HTTPS) to get automatically redirected.
  2. Click Download to download the JoinNow MultiOS application from the Google Play Store.
    • Note: You will likely need to switch to the UO Guest network to get the download to finish once it is started.
  3. Click on the Join Now button; this will open the JoinNow MultiOS application.
    • Note: You may need to switch back to the UO Wi-Fi Setup network if you needed to use UO Guest in the last step.
  4. Run the installer (by default, installers will download to your Downloads folder).
  5. Enter your Duck ID and password, then hit Next.
  6. The program should automatically connect you to UO Secure. If it doesn't, select the Wi-Fi icon on your top bar once more, and try reconnecting to UO Secure, it should allow you on the network now.
  7. Keep JoinNow installed on your device, as you may need to reconnect through it if connection settings change in the future.

If this does not work, please attempt the manual outlined below.
