Connecting to eduroam (Windows 10)

This article details how to connect to the Eduroam network on Windows 10. You may need to configure eduroam manually to connect if the initial steps fail.

How to Connect to eduroam

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right corner and select eduroam from the list of discovered networks.
  2. Enter your full UO email address in the username field and your Duck ID password in the password field.
  3. Click Join to connect.

If the above steps are unsuccessful, follow the steps below to configure eduroam manually. In addition to configuring UO Secure and connecting to it automatically, this process also configures eduroam.

How to Manually Configure eduroam

  1. Connect to UO WiFi Setup by selecting the Wi-Fi icon once more and selecting UO WiFi Setup. This should automatically open a window in your default web browser.
  2. Click the JoinNow button to download the installer.
  3. Run the installer. By default, the installer will download to your Downloads folder.
  4. Enter your Duck ID and Duck ID password.
  5. Click Next.
    • Once the program completes, you should be authenticated for the UO Secure and eduroam network.
  6. Connect to eduroam.
