Configuring UO Secure (macOS)

Question

How do I connect to UO Secure on my macOS devices?

Solution

To connect to UO Secure manually:

  1. Connect to UO WiFi Setup by selecting the WiFi icon and choosing UO WiFi Setup. This should automatically open a window in your default web browser (Note: If a new window does not open, navigate to https://cloud.securew2.com/public/49980/UO_Secure/)

  2. Click on the Join Now button, which will download an installer.

  3. Run the installer. If you cannot find the installer download in your browser, it should also be in your Downloads folder.
  4. Enter your Duck ID (first part of your @uoregon.edu email address) and Duck ID password, then hit Next. Once the program completes, you should be authenticated for UO Secure.

  5. The program should then automatically connect you to UO Secure. If you are not automatically connected, select the Wi-Fi icon once more and choose UO Secure. If you are prompted to enter a username and password, enter your Duck ID and Duck ID password. You should now be on the UO Secure network.
