Question
How do I refer to an anchor link in another article?
Solution
Anchor links can be referred to in other articles by taking the URL of the article, adding a # symbol, then the name of the tag.
URL + # + tag-name
Example: https://service.uoregon.edu/TDClient/2030/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=139002#emu-lab-hours
- URL: https://service.uoregon.edu/TDClient/2030/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=139002
- #
- tag-name: emu-lab-hours
Anchor creation
If you need to add an anchor first, follow the steps below.
- Select the Anchor icon (indicated by a dark flag on a light background)

- Enter the Anchor Name in tag notation (e.g., anchor, heading-name, etc.) then select OK.

- Select Save As Draft (to submit the update) or Update Article (with the appropriate permissions).
Once the anchor is in place, refer to the anchor formula above.
