Unable to access file share

Issue

File share connection is missing after computer update on a Windows computer

Environment

Windows 10 computer

Cause

Update seems to have reset the file share connections

Resolution

Please try re-adding it by following these steps.

  1. Open File Explorer (the manila folder)
  2. Right click on This PC
  3. Click on Map network drive...
  4. In the Folder: field, enter the file share you want to access.
  5. Click Finish.
