Residential Network Service Support

For Residence Halls & University Apartment residents to request help registering devices to connect to the university Residential Network. Devices that connect to the residential network must be registered at https://ise-guest.uoregon.edu.

What ResNet Supports
  • Device Registration of
    • Routers (apartments only)
    • Gaming Consoles
    • Smart TVs
  • Assistance connecting wired & wireless devices to the UO network.
  • Assistance in troubleshooting connection to the UO network.
What ResNet does not:
  • Assistance with operating system errors or problems
  • Hardware repairs
  • House calls (unless prearranged with the university under the American with Disabilities Act)
  • Connecting printers to the UO network
  • Assistance to students not living in university housing.

Requirements

  • Information about the device you are trying to register.
  • The MAC address you have registered.
  • The jack number that you are plugged into

Availability and Access

This service is for residents of University Housing residents halls and apartments. You can expect a response to your request within 6 business hours.
