Configuring UO Secure (iOS)

Question

How do connect to UO Secure on my iOS Devices (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad)?

Solution

Connecting to UO Secure with UO Wi-Fi Setup

Forget the UO Secure network if you've connected in the past. If you've never connected to UO Secure before, feel free to skip to Step 2.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Select the blue information icon next to UO Secure.
  4. Turn off Auto-Join.

  5. Go back to the Wi-Fi page and toggle the Wi-Fi from On to Off, and then back to On again. You'll want to disconnect from UO Secure and reconnect.

Step 2: Connect to UO Wi-Fi Setup

  1. Connect to UO Wi-Fi Setup.
  2. A browser should open up automatically and redirect you to a page detecting your operating system.
  3. Enter your Duck ID.
  4. Select JoinNow.

  5. A pop-up will appear, reading: "This website is trying to download a configuration profile. Do you want to allow this?"
    • Select Allow.
  6. Open Settings.
  7. Go to the new Profile Downloaded tab, on the left.
  8. A pop-up will appear, reading Install Profile.
    • Select Install.​​​​​​

  9. Enter your iOS device's passcode.
  10.  Select Done.
  11. Select Install.
  12. A pop-up will appear, reading Enter Password.
    • Enter your Duck ID password.
  13. Select Done.

Step 3: Connect to UO Secure

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Under Choose a Network..., select UO Secure from the list of available networks.
  4. Select the blue information icon next to UO Wi-Fi Setup.
  5. Select Forget This Network.
    • This is to prevent UO Wi-Fi Setup from auto-connecting.
  6. Now you're connected to UO Secure!
