Issue
Unable to access Word documents stored on a file server. Error states:
Additional permissions are required to access the following files:
Microsoft Word needs access to the file named [File name]. Select the item to grant access.

UO-managed Mac computer
Description
I am having trouble opening word docs in certain folders of our file share. I have attached a picture for reference. I should have access. I do to adobe pdfs, just certain word docs will not work.
Resolution
Ensure all Microsoft apps are up to date and make sure the operating system (OS) is running the latest version. Reboot the affected computer.
