UO Managed Dell laptop

We have been having trouble connecting our office laptops to our conference room screen though HDMI. Even though the computer is plugged in, the screen will say no input available when prompted to choose the HDMI.
For reference, as our office computers we use a Dell laptop that is fairly old. We might just need a new office computer, but it might also be an HDMI problem. If someone could come look at it we would appreciate it.

  1. One the affected computer, navigate to Dell Support.
  2. Enter the service tag of the computer in question in the Identify your product or search support field.
  3. Go to Drivers and Downloads.
  4. Expand the complete list of drivers and filter for the Video category.
  5. Download and install the graphics driver listed for the affected computer. This may be listed as an Intel UHD Graphics Driver.
  6. Re-test the computer's ability to connect to external displays.
