Domain Trust Relationship Error

Issue

Upon trying to log into a Windows device using UO credentials, you're unable to log in, receiving the error "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship."

Environment

UO-owned and managed Windows computer.

Description

I am unable to sign into this laptop as it gives me the message "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship."

Resolution

This is caused by the computer being deleted from the UO's Active Directory system.

Reach out to your department or unit IT support team to get the computer reconnected to Active Directory.
