How do I connect to the eduroam network?

Solution

Configuring your device for eduroam

The following explains how UO students, faculty, and staff can set up their devices to use eduroam when visiting participating institutions.

Please Note: When you are setting up UO Secure, eduroam is also configured. While on-campus, both networks are available for UO affiliates.
  1. Visit UO Wi-Fi and select Get connected.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. ​​​​​Alternatively, you can follow the instructions for your specific operating system below:
    1. Windows
    2. macOS
    3. iOS (iPhone, iPad)
    4. Android
    5. ChromeOS (Chromebook)

Visiting UO from another eduroam institution?

If your home institution participates in eduroam, you can connect to eduroam at UO using the credentials provided by your institution.

  1. Select the eduroam wireless network on your device.
  2. Enter your full email address from your home institution (e.g., bsmith@pdx.edu, drogers@oregonstate.edu).
  3. Enter your password for that account.
  4. You may be prompted to accept a security certificate to proceed. Please accept that certificate.
