How do I activate Office Online and OneDrive?
Solution
Online versions of the Microsoft Office 365 suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are available for use in the browser. Please note: you must activate your OneDrive account before you can use the Office Suite apps.
- Go to Office 365.
- Log in with your full UO email address (@uoregon.edu) and the corresponding password.
- Select the OneDrive icon.
- Select Next.
- Select Your OneDrive is ready.
Your OneDrive account has now been activated. A list of your documents will display. To use Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, or OneNote Online, select the App Launcher on the upper-left, then select the app of your choice.
If you attempt to create a document in Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, or OneNote online without first activating OneDrive, you may see one of the following two error messages:
