Adding New Safe Sender in Proofpoint


If you have an address or domain that is being blocked by Proofpoint, and you'd like to receive email from that address or domain, follow the steps below to allow delivery of email from those sources.


Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the website
  2. Login using your Duck ID (email address without and your Duck ID password
  3. In the bottom left corner, click on the Lists tab
  4. In the same column on the left side of the screen, click Safe Senders List
  5. Once this highlights, click the 'New' button that is directly to the right of the University of Oregon logo in the top right corner of the page
  6. In the resulting text entry field, either put in the full address ( or the Internet domain ( Opening the full domain will allow any email from that domain through the spam filter; be certain that this is something you want.
  7. Once you have entered in the address or domain, click the Save button and log out.
