Housing Access Control Video/Door Log Request

Housing Management or Residence Life Community Director and above may use these services to request support for security data.

What Housing IT supports
  • Requests for video footage
  • Requests for access logs
  • Please review the UO Housing Guidelines for Video and Security Data Requests before submitting a ticket.
  • Any request involving a crime or suspected crime must be made to the University of Oregon Police Department by calling (541) 346-2919. Housing IT cannot fulfill a video or data request about criminal activity unless made by a police officer.
What Housing IT does not
  • Provide security-related data to non-Housing departments.
  • Any request that could be related to a crime should be made to UOPD at (541) 346-2919.

Availability and Access

You can expect a response to your request within 2 business days.

This service is only for Housing managers.

For Immediate Assistance

If you are experiencing a physical problem with a door (lock is malfunctioning, door will not close, card reader malfunctioning) please call the Housing Duty Admin at 541-913-0043.

For building schedule problems (i.e. door should be locked/unlocked) call James Stegall at 541-357-8808.
