IDR training for new or current users can be accomplished using our self-paced training guides. Below are links to the documents, based on your intended use of the Cognos Analytics system. On demand training and open lab is available through a remote MS Teams or Zoom session. To schedule this, please open a ticket in the IDR Service Request page of the Service Portal.

An introduction to IBM Cognos Analytics and the Integrated Data and Reporting (IDR) service. It is intended for University of Oregon employees whose activities require running previously developed enterprise and departmental reports.
Pre-requisites include a basic technical understanding of database terminology and concepts, data structures and entity relationship diagrams. This training is intended for University of Oregon employees whose activities require data beyond information available in existing UO Enterprise reports or departmental reports, such as ad-hoc queries, or modifying reports to suit specific or changing needs.
This training is intended for UO employees who wish to contribute to university knowledge creation by designing and developing reports with greater complexity, or to work on enterprise level reports.
