How to restore email signatures in Outlook

Overview

Below are the steps for restoring your Outlook email signatures from a backup in Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, and 365. Please note, backing up/restoring signatures is not supported on Mac. These steps are for Windows devices only.

Steps

  1. Locate where you saved your signature backup files.
  2. Open Outlook.
  3. Click File in the top right corner.
  4. Click Options near the bottom left of the menu.
  5. Click Mail on the bar on the side.
  6. Hold Ctrl and click Signatures.
    • This will open a folder where all of your signatures are saved.
  7. Copy or drag your backed-up files into this location.
  8. Restart Outlook.
