How do I see emails as a conversation in a Shared Inbox?

I have a shared inbox in Outlook for Windows that I manage and it's not displaying emails as a conversation. I have the conversation feature enabled and emails in my inbox show as conversations, but not in the Shared Inbox.

How do I see emails as a conversation in a Shared Inbox?

Solution

Microsoft has not implemented conversations for shared inboxes. You will not be able to see emails as a conversation for shared inboxes.

However, there is a workaround. 

  1. In your web browser, navigate and sign in to the Outlook Web App at uomail.uoregon.edu
  2. Click on your profile icon on the top right, then click on Open another mailbox
  3. In the new window, type in the email you want to access then click Ok

Outlook will open a new tab showing just the inbox of the email you entered. In this tab, you can view emails in this inbox as a conversation. You can bookmark this tab so you can access the inbox directly instead of using the Open another mailbox feature every time you want to access the inbox.
