I have a shared inbox in Outlook for Windows that I manage and it's not displaying emails as a conversation. I have the conversation feature enabled and emails in my inbox show as conversations, but not in the Shared Inbox.
How do I see emails as a conversation in a Shared Inbox?
Solution
Microsoft has not implemented conversations for shared inboxes. You will not be able to see emails as a conversation for shared inboxes.
However, there is a workaround.
- In your web browser, navigate and sign in to the Outlook Web App at uomail.uoregon.edu
- Click on your profile icon on the top right, then click on Open another mailbox
- In the new window, type in the email you want to access then click Ok
Outlook will open a new tab showing just the inbox of the email you entered. In this tab, you can view emails in this inbox as a conversation. You can bookmark this tab so you can access the inbox directly instead of using the Open another mailbox feature every time you want to access the inbox.
