Overview
The Zoom application is integrated into the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) for the convenience of instructors and students. The integration enables an instructor to schedule Zoom meetings from within a Canvas course and provides an easy Zoom meeting launch spot for students.
Issue
As of July 19, 2021, new meetings scheduled in Zoom within Canvas will automatically appear on the Canvas Course Syllabus.

Previously scheduled meetings will not automatically appear on the Course Syllabus or the Calendar. Instructors can add them to the course syllabus and calendar by editing the meeting topic.
Resolution
To fix this, please follow these steps:
- On the Zoom Meetings page, click the title of the meeting which you want to appear on the course syllabus and the calendar.
- Click Edit this Meeting.
- Change the title or add an extra space after the title in the Topic field.
- Click Save.
