Price Science Commons Computers

Overview

The Price Science Commons (PSC) was designed with a variety of open spaces for study and group work.

There are computers spread throughout and there are groups of computers in three discrete areas of the library:

  • a large computer lab at the far east side near the service desk
  • pairs of computers along the west courtyard edge
  • individual computers in adjoining carrels in the northwest corner near the classrooms. 

Generally, the lab is often active and noisy. The area to the west of the courtyard is more likely to be quiet.

Information about printing in the computer lab may be found here:

  • B&W/Monochromatic Printing
    • $0.08 / page, 8.5 x 11 in. (letter size) and 8.5 x 14 in. (legal size)
    • $0.16 / page, 11 x 17 in. (tabloid size)
    • Defaults to double-sided when available
  • Color Printing
    • $0.25 / side, 8.5 x 11 in (letter size)
    • $0.50 / side, 11 x 17 in (tabloid size)
    • Defaults to double-sided
    • Single or double-sided at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution
