Download, Install, and Set Up Microsoft Teams (macOS)

Overview

This article explains how to download, install and set up Microsoft Teams in macOS.

Information

Below the steps are how to download, install and set up Microsoft Teams for macOS on a personal device. If you use a UO-managed device, you will need to install the application from the Software Center.

1. Open a browser and go to office.uoregon.edu
2. Sign in using your UO email and password.
3. Select Apps on the left, then select Teams.
4. Click the three dots (more options menu) in the top-right corner of your screen.
   
5. Click Download the desktop app
6. The installer will begin downloading. Once the download is complete, run the installer.
7. Click Continue.
   
8. Click Install.
   
9. Enter your computer password if you are prompted for one.
10. Click Close.
    
11. Click Move to Trash.
    
12. Find the Teams application in your application list in Finder and click to open it.
13. Enter your UO email address and click Next.
    
14. Enter your Duck ID password and click Sign in.
    
15. That's it! Microsoft Teams is now installed on your device.
