This article explains how to join a Skype for Business meeting as a guest.

Information

To join a Skype for Business meeting as a guest, you must first receive an invitation via email or your calendar from a UO Skype for Business user. Then complete the following steps:

  1. Click the link to "Try Skype Web App" or click the link you were provided.
  2. You will be prompted to download the Skype Meetings App. The Skype Meetings App supports both Mac and PC and most modern browsers.
  3. Install this software following your browser's specific instructions.
  4. After the Skype Meetings App is installed, you will be prompted with a welcome screen where you can enter your name. Enter the name of your choice.
  5. Click the Join button.

You are now connected to the Skype for Business meeting as a guest!
