Question
How do I share files and folder in OneDrive through an Android device?
Solution
Download and install the OneDrive app in the Play Store.
Open the application and sign in with your UO email address (e.g., duckid@uoregon.edu) and password.
Click the
Files
tab to view files and folders stored in your OneDrive account.
Then, select the file or folder you want to share.
Once selected, tap the
Share
button.
Type in any email addresses you'd like to share the file with.
To restrict their access to viewing only, click the box above the email text box, and uncheck the box next to
Allow editing
.
Then, click
Send
.
Note: Click on the
i
(information) button to the right of a file or folder to see who it's shared with.
