Campus Virtual Lab Support

Use this service to request support for the Campus Virtual Labs. Reasons to request support:

  • Can't connect
  • The lab is slow or not behaving correctly
  • Having trouble launching an application
  • Need an application installed
  • An application is not configured or working properly
  • Faculty requesting access for class
  • Others (please describe)

Please Note: As of September 6th, 2022, the main and high-performance labs are merging into one system found through the Virtual Computer Lab Portal. The new lab will be named UO-Open Lab.  This merger will incorporate two-step login as well.

How to Create a Ticket

To request support click Request Lab Support (top right of the page) and provide the requested information.

Availability and Access

UO-Open Lab: Any student or faculty may use this lab for coursework or instructional purposes. To use the main lab, visit the VMware Horizon page and log in with your Duck ID.

Applications are for use in conjunction with classes. Staff or faculty should not use these resources to perform business for the UO.

Support does not include how to use an application beyond ensuring the software runs correctly and is configured as expected by lab administrators and faculty.
