SOJC Computer Labs

Overview

The Allen Hall Digital Commons are a collection of five computer lab spaces used for SOJC course instruction and work space for SOJC students. Classes are generally scheduled in four of the labs, with Allen 318 designated as an open lab for SOJC student drop-in use.

The Digital Commons Labs are not available for reservation by non-SOJC affiliated programs, functions, or events.

Capacity: 20 in each lab

Classroom A/V: Ceiling mounted projector with retractable screen, inputs for both a laptop and an instructor iMac. Each room is also furnished with a DVD player and ceiling mounted audio speakers, as well as front-of-the-classroom stereo speakers.  Additional technology, such as a document camera or speakerphone can be reserved at the Tech Desk in Room 319 Allen Hall.

Furniture: Several whiteboard spaces, and a podium for lecture.

Computers: 20 iMac desktop computers, including one instructor station.
