Managing Distribution Groups using UOmail

This guide will provide instructions for adding members to groups, as well as removing members from groups using UOmail.


  1. Login to UOmail
  2. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
  3. Select Options.
  4. Select Groups from the navigation menu to the left of the page.
  5. In the list under the heading Distribution groups I own click on the name of the group to which you would like to add members and click the pencil (edit) icon above the list of groups.
  6. A new window will appear with a menu down the right side. Click the menu item labeled Membership
  7. Click the + icon under the Members: heading.
    1. A new window will load with a list of all available users on the left and an informational pane on the right.
    2. Use the search bar at the top of this page to find new members for your group.
    3. When you have located the correct new member, click the + icon to the right of the member’s name in the pane on the left. This will add the selected user to the current distribution list.
  8. If you accidentally add an incorrect member, right-click on the name of the member and select Remove.
  9. When you are satisfied with your list, select OK. This will save all changes that you have made.
