Restore OneDrive to Previous Backup

Question

How do I restore my OneDrive to a previous state?

Prerequisites before the solution

Before restoring, there is several things to be aware of:

  1. If it is a shared drive, the owner of the drive must perform the restore.
  2. A restore can only be done up to 30 days from the current date. Anything past the 30 day mark cannot be restored.
  3. Any changes in the users OneDrive will be rolled back. Even if you just want to restore a single file or folder, every other file and folder will be restored to the selected time.
