How to connect to the eduroam network from an Android device.
Note: The wording and interface may be slightly different than the steps below, depending on the phone and version of Android.
Solution
- Open the Menu.
- Open Settings.
- Settings can also be found in your applications.
- Choose Network & Internet.
- Choose Internet.
- Select the network eduroam from the list of possible networks.
- Enter your Duck ID into the "Identity" field.
- It may be displayed as username instead of identity.
- Then enter your Duck ID password in the "Password" field.
- Verify the "Domain" field is uoregon.edu.
- Leave all of the other fields unchanged.
During this process you may have to enter a separate password for your phone if you use a password-securing program.
