How to restore Mozilla Firefox bookmarks

Overview

Below are the steps to restore your Mozilla Firefox bookmarks. This requires that you had previously backed up your bookmarks file to a known and accessible location.

Steps

1. Open Firefox.
2. Open the menu ≡ (menu icon).
3. Click Bookmarks.
4. Click Manage Bookmarks.
5. Click the Import and backup your bookmarks button ↓↑ ∨ from the toolbar.
6. Click Restore.
7. Click Choose File...
8. Navigate to where you have saved your backup file.
9. Select the file and click Open.
