How can I see past versions of a file in OneDrive?

Solution

  1. Go to the OneDrive file you wish to revert to a former state. Select the ... (ellipses) and Open location.OneDrive example
  2. Select the bubble check mark to the left of your file. Select the ... (ellipses) and select Version history. Version history example
  3. Version history will allow you to view information about recent changes that have been made to your file, including the time the change was made, and by whom. Version history example with dates, times, and modified by.
  4. Between the Version number and the Modified date/time information, you can select ... (ellipses) to access your options for that file version.
    1. This is where you can select Open File, Restore, or Delete Version.
    2. Once you identify the Version you are looking for, select Restore. That version will become the new current version.Version history management example
