Adding a shortcut to another article in a different category

How do I add a shortcut from a different article or category to another knowledge base category?

Description

General question: Is there a way to have one article show up in more than once category? We have a lot of interdependent topics that link to one another. I saw where to make a shortcut but wasn't sure if that was the way to do it.

Yes, that's the way!

To add a shortcut from another location into your current category:

  1. Select the New Shortcut button.
  2. Select either Article or Category, then enter the title of the article or category in the Target field.
  3. Select the weight of the shortcut.
    1. If the number is low or pin it, it will appear at higher in the list
    2. If the number is higher, it will appear lower in the list
    3. Note: If multiple articles have the same weight, they will appear in alphabetical order by title.
  4. Select Save to complete the process.
