Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT)

Overview

The Information Security Office (InfoSec) is pleased to offer all University of Oregon faculty, staff, and students access to the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) program. This opportunity provides a wide variety of different cybersecurity lessons to accommodate all levels of expertise.

The PSAT program houses the training that will help you secure your computers, accounts, and data, and is essential for safe computing.

Training topics include:

  • Mobile device security
  • Passwords
  • Phishing
  • Privacy compliance (FERPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • Protecting computers
  • Protecting networks and data
  • Social networks

How to Access Training in the Platform

  1. Navigate to InfoSec Training (link will open in a new window)
  2. Log in using your Duck ID.
  3. Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page
  4. Select My Training

FAQ

How do I access an Assignment in the PSAT Platform?

If you have been assigned training, the training assignment will appear under My Training section.

  • To continue the assignment, the user needs to click Continue Assignment button. 
  • If the user has not started the assignment yet, the button will say Start Assignment.

What is freeplay and how do access it?

Freeplay is the ability for a user to take training modules that are not part of an assignment. Modules that are available for anyone to take are listed under the Additional Training section.
