Forwarding and Downloading Voicemail Messages from Microsoft Teams

Overview

Learn how to forward and download voicemail messages received through Microsoft Teams calling. The process can't be done in Teams itself, but rather must be done through email.

Forwarding via email

Once a voicemail message is recorded, the transcript and audio file are sent to your email as a message.

Please Note: The example below is using Outlook on the web.

To forward the voicemail to another colleague, select Forward then enter the recipients to whom you wish to send the message.

Select Forward from the message to send it to colleagues

Downloading the audio file

To download the audio file of the message, select the More Options icon.

Select the More Options menu with the attachment file

Select Download to download the file to your computer's file system.

Select the Download option
