Changing the visual layout of your ANVILL lesson in Canvas

Overview

This page explains two different ways to visually rearrange content on your ANVILL lesson within Canvas.

Rearrange content on your lesson page

1. Open the ANVILL lesson in Canvas that you want to visually rearrange.
2. Click on the gear icon near the bottom right of the lesson header
   
3. Click Order in the menu that opens.
4. A window representing all of the existing content on your page will open.
5. Drag and drop items to rearrange.

Resize content on your page

You can expand or shrink an activity in ANVILL. When shrunk, the activity will take up half the width of a page. When enlarged 

1. Locate the activity you want to shrink or enlarge on your ANVILL lesson.
2. Click on the green pencil icon in the circle near the activity's title.
3. In the menu that opens, select:
   • Shrink: if you are making landscape column smaller
   • Enlarge: if you are reverting smaller content to landscape  
     
4. Click on the  icon to save your work and exit.
