As part of the Security Technologies Service Advisory Board (ST-SAB) workflow, the ST-SAB uses this service to intake new proposals for our group to consider. There are 10 questions and we expect that it will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
This is the first step in our process. Once the form is submitted, the ST-SAB will consider the merits of this proposal against other competing proposals in order to prioritize our work. In some cases, we'll spin up a team to research this further or generate a proof of concept. The end result will be to pass it along to the Security Policy SAB, the Security GC, or other groups as appropriate with our recommendations.
How to Submit A Proposal
To request support click Submit Proposal (top right of the page) and provide the requested information.
Availability and Access
The ST-SAB will accept proposals from anyone in the University of Oregon community.
ST-SAB meets monthly to review proposals. Some proposals may require further research. ST-SAB can meet more frequently for priority requests, but urgent or emergency changes should not go through this form.
