PSC Visualization Lab Support

This is for IT service requests for the visualization lab computers, including adding users, software requests or troubleshooting. This also is for general IT consulting regarding the PSC Visualization lab space.

How to Create a Ticket

To request imaging support for click Create a Ticket (top right of the page) and select the type of support:

  • Access to High Resolution system
  • Access to Academic Workstation
  • Access to SAGE2 System
  • IT Consulting

Availability and Access

This is an internal support service only available to users in the Libraries.

  • High resolution System: Takes full advantage of the resolution of the vizwall, and supports custom softare installation. Due to quirks in software support and compatibility, a training session by PSC Library staff, and then user account provisioning by USS South is required to gain access
  • Academic Workstation: This runs a standard academic workstation image, but at only 4K resolution. It does not have any additional login restrictions, but does not support software outside the AW image.
  • SAGE2 System: There is no logon on this system, it solely runs the SAGE2 multi-user conference board software. Connection to SAGE2 uses a shared password distributed by PSC Library staff.
