Lost or Stolen Device Report/Tracking

Use this service if your technology device (phone, computer, tablet, laptop or two-factor authentication token) has been lost or stolen and IT can often provide additional information or assistance with recovering the device.

In addition to contacting IT if your device is STOLEN. you should: 

Note: There are no guarantees that the device will be found. Make sure that you report your lost or stolen device to the University of Oregon Police Department.

How to Create a Ticket

To request support gather as much of the following information as possible and click Create a Ticket (top right of the page).

Information (if available)
Is this a personal device? Last known location
DuckID of primary user Police report number
UO Asset Tag (HR Tag) Does the device hold confidential information
Operating System Whether the device is encrypted
Serial Number MAC Address
