Vocabulary

Term Definition
Cohesity Cohesity is the current backup solution provided by IS.
Cohesity Report Summary or Details of cohesity related operations such as: backups, backup agent health, storage consumption, snapshot copies, etc.
Schedule The frequency of the report run.
Registered Sources These are the actual objects in Cohesity such as: servers, VMs, Storage volumes, SQL servers, AD servers, etc.
Job Name You can report on a specific job if you prefer. This would be useful for a VM job. Rather than selecting each VM in the "sources" area you could just pick the job that protects them all to report on.
Time Span This is the amount of data. If you are sending the report each day, you would probably want a 24 hour time span. If you have a job that runs less frequently then maybe the last 30 days or week is appropriate.
Run Status This is the amount of data. If you are sending the report each day, you would probably want a 24 hour time span. If you have a job that runs less frequently then maybe the last 30 days or week is appropriate.
