Backing Up A Confluence Site

Overview

Learn how to export a Confluence page as a HTML ZIP file for backup recovery.

Please Note: In order to export a space, you will need to have Export privileges to a particular Confluence space.

Instructions

  1. Click the gear icon (mechanical wheel) located at the bottom left corner of the Confluence home page.

  2. Click on Space Tools. A pop-up will appear. From the options, select Content Tools.

  3. Click on the Content Tools tab. This will open a new page. Then, select the Export tab.

  4. Select HTML.

  5. Click Next to proceed with the default configuration.

  6. Select Normal Export.
  7. Click the Export button to begin the process.

  8. The export process may take a few minutes. Once completed, a download link will appear.
