Viewing the size of a file or folder in Dropbox

Question

How do I check the size of a file or folder in my Dropbox account?

Solution

If you’re not sure how big a file or folder is, you can check the size on dropbox.com.

To view the size of a file on dropbox.com:

1. Log in to dropbox.com with your UO email address.
2. The file size will display under the Size column.
   • If you don’t see the Size column, hover over one of the column headers and click the drop-down arrow, then select Size. Now file sizes should appear in the All Files view. 

To view the size of a folder on dropbox.com:

1. Log in to dropbox.com wit your UO email address.
2. Hover over a column header and click the drop-down arrow, then select Size. Now file sizes should appear in the All Files view. 

Alternatively, size information is also available by selecting a file or folder, clicking the three-dots icon "...", then choose File Info or Folder Info in the menu to see all related information via the 'Info' panel on the right of your screen.
