How to remove FortiClient software from a Mac
Process
In a Finder window, navigate to the
Utilities
folder.
Double-click on the
Terminal.app
application to start a terminal window.
Run the following commands (in
bold
, below):
cd /Library/LaunchDaemons
sudo rm -rf com.fortinet.forticlient.*
(^ when prompted for your password, use the one you use to login to your Mac)
cd "/Library/Application Support/Fortinet"
sudo rm -R FortiClient
Reboot your Mac
After the reboot, login and run
FortiClientUninstaller
from the Applications folder.
