How to remove FortiClient software from a Mac

Process

1. In a Finder window, navigate to the Utilities folder. 
2. Double-click on the Terminal.app application to start a terminal window. 
3. Run the following commands (in bold, below):
   1. cd /Library/LaunchDaemons
   2. sudo rm -rf com.fortinet.forticlient.*
      (^ when prompted for your password, use the one you use to login to your Mac)
   3. cd "/Library/Application Support/Fortinet"
   4. sudo rm -R FortiClient
4. Reboot your Mac
5. After the reboot, login and run FortiClientUninstaller from the Applications folder.
