Overview
Learn how to search the different types of logs in the IS-Duckprints Admin Portal.
The IS-Duckprints Admin Portal has an searchable logging service for actions that occur with PaperCut. These logs will only show interactions that happen between members of the UO community, UO PaperCut managed printers, and the PaperCut service. If you need logs to see why a certain behavior is occurring locally on a printer, please search the logs on the Web Admin Interface for the printer.
Accessing the job log
- Navigate to IS-Duckprints Admin Portal
- On left hand side, click Logs
- Logs page opens up to the Job Log page by default
Log fields
When looking at the job log, you will see the following fields:
- Date - displays the date when the user submitted the job
- User - displays the name of the PaperCut account that did the work
- Printer - displays the printer that printed the job
- Pages - displays the number of pages the print job printed on
- Cost - displays the total cost of the print job
- Document Name - displays the name of the document that was printed
- Attribs. - displays the paper size, if the job was printed in color, the size of the job, and the ip address of the computer that sent the job
- Status - displays if the job was printed or not successfully. You can also edit the attributes of the print job or issues a PaperCut Refund for the print job
Searching the Job Log
To search the Job Log:
- Click on the filter button above the search results
- Enter in the fields you would like to search with
- Click Apply
